If It’s Not Broken, Break It

We break things
To fix them
Inanimate or biological
Objects, hearts and minds

With
Super glue for the soul
We tape over the hole
That we left in others
Because we were not whole.

This is one poem that I can agree with. Once we break someone, they are left to piece themselves back together. Not a pretty job.

    1. It’s funny how humans ‘work’. Thanks for swinging by!

  2. What an intense truth. We break others so that we have a way of connecting. Like grossly shaped puzzle pieces, it’s the only way we fit together. This poem, like a lot of yours, is perfect.

    1. Wow thats a massive compliment, thanks for your kind words.

Please, type what you think
