50 Word Fiction Competition and Brief Update

paolozzi giant hand sculpture

HUMANS WALK PAST it everyday. Smiling, laughing, posing for pictures, oblivious to the potential, ignorant of origin, naive to what the future holds. Art it is not.
He has been watching. With an army, he will return to reclaim his hand, and the very land on which he lost it.

Like a dope I missed the Scottish Book Trust competition by a day. But what you see above is what I was going to submit. It runs monthly and is open to most nationalities. Sculpture is by Eduardo Paolozzi.

In other news:

I was away from my master for a few days aka computer painting, so haven’t really been posting anything, replying or checking out all the blogs I follow and like to read, but did manage a sneaky perusal of notifications. Normal service will resume tomorrow, so my brain tells me.

Be well, be merry.

  2. Aw I was hoping to hear you entered and won. I’ve missed competition deadlines by several hours. How typical of me.
