      TECHNICALLY IT’S WEDNESDAY in Scotland. And as a result here are some more six word stories in this 26th edition. In keeping with tradition of the last few posts, please add your own if you feel inclined.

 

Monster caught. Chalk outline miles long.

Rhinoceros robbed. The piano forever off-key..

Fishing boat drifting, empty. Neptune satiated.

New day; 98 hours long. Enslaved.

Maniacs are unstoppable on submerged submarines.

As suspected, X-ray revealed no spine.

    I love the alliteration in this: “Maniacs are unstoppable on submerged submarines.” What a tongue twister! I didn’t get the one about the piano being off-key, but I did feel a pang of sadness for the rhinoceros that were robbed (not being sarcastic).

      Thanks, I enjoyed coming up with a multisyllabic 6 worder.
      The off key piano is as a result of the ivory being stolen, cursed to be offkey for the treachery.

    Great as per, but I didn’t understand the rhino one and kept putting elephant…oh ok was that it – Very good…that is loaded then.

      You got there ☺ I went for rhino over elephant, I dont think it was as primed though, so maybe the impact wasnt there like it could have been.

    I love the chalk outline, but it was the rhinoceros one that really made me laugh.

      I have failed. The rhino one was meant to be tragic, the result of being poached, unplayable ivories.

      And that means their hatred just keeps on going perpetually, dang 😕

    Oh you are so good at leaving the footsteps to a great story! I especially love the new day one. Makes me think sci-fi and a new planet where humans are not at the top of the food chain. Loved the chalk outline miles long one too. 😀
